Sifu Matthew Martin began studying Wah Lum Kung Fu in 1997 at the Wah Lum Temple in Orlando, Florida. After years of hard, dedicated work, he was taken on as a student of Sifu Mimi Chan and invited to participate in elite training for her demonstration team. This arduous program consisted of specialized team performances, extensive national and international competition, dragon and lion dance shows, as well as personalized instruction on organizing and effectively teaching traditional Kung Fu classes for both children and adults.

All Wah Lum Kung Fu instructors are recertified every 3 years to retain Wah Lum’s high standard and to ensure the traditional integrity of the system.
